It is operated in 14 car configuration between Tokyo and Okayama, corresponding to combination of "Sunrise Izumo" 7 car configuration (operated between Tokyo and Izumo) and "Sunrise Seto" 7 car configuration (operated between Tokyo and Takamatsu).
