The new HO Unitrack Set allows you to most enjoy HO scale model railroad layout, that tends to spread wider, in a limited space. With the set developed under the concept of making an HO track layout for most changeable driving in a small space, an endless driving track layout can be made in the shape of a broad bean, including as many as four turnouts within a 4' x 8' rectangle (approx. 1200 mm x 2400 mm).
For this purpose, Kato has newly developed an HO curved track R490, with a radius even smaller than the conventionally smallest track R550, and a manual turnout R490, corresponding to the curved track.
